Optimal Human Population in Nature

The questions to discuss and think deeply and philosophically

1. Is there any optimal human population to remain in balance with Nature's resources ? 
2. How majority of human population is contributing to the greater goal of  functioning of Nature or the Universe? 
3. What purpose an arbitrary human has to contribute to the greater goal of humanity or its just in the blind flow for the purpose of taking birth, earning and die..in the infinite series....? 
4. One of the most fundamental assumptions of economics leading to many problems: *Human Wants are Unlimited(Infinite) but Resources are Finite!*
